Syllabus

Students receive a course syllabus at the first class meeting (or in the first week if taking an online class) from the instructor. The syllabus for the course is vital to your overall success as it will provide important information regarding the structure and timeline of the course, how grades are calculated, required textbook(s) and materials, and important dates and deadlines for assignments, papers, and exams.

The syllabus will also contain office hours information for the Instructor. All college professors are required to have office hours outside of class time where they can meet with students for additional help or to answer questions.
